Mella Sacagiu
Originally from Romania, I moved to Houston, Texas in 2004. As I started painting, a friend challenged me to paint portraits. I soon discovered that painting portraits provided both a challenge as well as an opportunity for me to bring forth life and personality to the canvas. My passion for painting has grown, as has my passion for learning. Originally, I did not pursue formal education as I found that I was learning mostly through experimentation. I then discovered the Glassell School of Art and have taken many courses that have helped solidify my artistic basis.
